Time-band strategy

INDIAN SAFARI: Animal Planet, Friday, 9 p.m.

Animal Planet has introduced a time-band strategy — a dedicated programming slot for viewership in India — for four well-defined bands. It has also introduced an India-centric one-hour weekly slot called Indian Safari.

Funzone, (weekdays, 8 p.m.) includes `The Planet's Funniest Animals' and `Amazing Animal Videos' that capture the humorous aspects of animals.

Safari (weekdays, 9 p.m.) is devoted to the thrilling and spine chilling experiences of jungle safari.

Masters of the Jungles (weekdays, 10 p.m.) presents breathtaking and awe-inspiring accounts with the most dangerous animals on the planet. Unexplained, Unexplored, (weekdays, 11 p.m.) reveals the less understood and less-known stories of animal behaviour. Indian Safari, (Fridays, 9 p.m.) seeks encounters with India's wildest and rarest animals.
