This week's programme will feature `Natya Peroli' Padmini, who will share her film and dance experiences with Gopinath.

Born and brought up in Thiruvananthapuram, Padmini devoted her entire time to learning and teaching classical dance. Her sister Lalitha and Ragini were also renowned film actors and the trio was referred to as "Travancore Sisters."

At the age of 17, Padmini started her career with the Hindi film "Kalpana."

Besides Tamil, she has also acted in Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam films. She did the dubbing for all her movies, including other languages, which is something unique. She has acted with all the leading heroes including legendary stars Raj Kapoor, Sivaji Ganesan, M.G.R., Prem Nazir and Rajkumar.
