Aradhana at California

A day-long Tyagaraja Aradhana utsavam was celebrated at the Malibu temple, California, recently.

After the puja, the gathering was welcomed by the volunteer group of Arun, Gopi and Giridar, Cultural president of the Malibu temple. It was Ganasaraswathy and her group of volunteers and her disciples, made the utsavam a grand success.

The speciality of this utsavam was the rendering of compositions of not only those of Saint Tyagaraja but also those of other composers. After rendering the pancharatna kritis of the saint by the group, there were solo recitals by different artistes.

Ganasarasaraswathy, on seeing Lord Venkateswara, the presiding deity of Malibu, sang "BhulogaVaikunta'' in Chakravakam. Babu Parameswaran, Delhi Sunderrajan, Muralikrishna, Rose, Tiruvaiyaru Krishnan and Kalyani Sadhanandan, students of Ganam, gave a wonderful presentation.

The gurus were felicitated at the end of the utsavam.
