Sufi music festival
Marvellous is the sound that enriches the soul. The Sufi, Mystic and the Baul music intuits and affirms the fact that in ecstasy, a mystic sends his answers to the supreme being, who reveals Himself to him.
Presenting this ancient but variable spiritual tradition from different parts of India, the Mumbai-based `Banyan Tree' is attempting to highlight `unity within diversity,' a concept well known to Indians.
The Sufi music festival, `Karawane Ruhaniyat,' brainchild of Mahesh Babu and Nandini, will be held on February 18, 6.30 p.m. at the Madras Race Club Lawns, Guindy.
