Will `Jithan' Ramesh find the magic touch in `Madhu?'

ON THE GOLDEN SANDS: `Madhu' promises clean fun.
The area off East Coast Road is deserted, no sign of any action. But close to the shore, there is intense activity with generators whirring. It is the heroine, Priya Mani, who is in front of the camera and sitting in a chair, hero Ramesh is relaxing.
Shooting is on for Golden Media's ``Madhu."
How is married life, one asks Ramesh, who tied the knot recently. ``I'm still leading a bachelor's life," he replies with a mischievous grin. Wife is away in Mumbai and won't be back for a month, follows the explanation.
At the director's call Ramesh moves to join the leading lady in front of the camera, with the sparkling blue sea forming an alluring backdrop.
"This will be a good family entertainer. I can surely vouch for its clean entertainment value," says director Thennarasu. "It is a love story and I don't want to give away much because on earlier occasions I have found that the idea is developed into a mega soap," he adds.
```Jithan' Ramesh and Priya Mani make a nice pair and viewers will love them. We shot scenes at different places in Nagercoil and the finishing touches are being given here," he says.
Ramesh, whose "Jerry" is also due for release is in an upbeat mood. ``Which will hit the theatres first is the question, but I enjoyed working in both. One is a comedy and other is a love story with a difference," he expands.
Priya Mani is equally optimistic. She is sure that the film will do well at the box office.
Backed by good technicians and artistes, producer Vizhupuarm Thangasekar is brimming with confidence.
The cast includes Vivek, Ashish Vidyarthi, `Nizhalgal' Ravi, Rekha, Janavi and `Thalai Vaasal' Vijai.
"Ilaiyaraaja has scored the music. He takes good care of re-recording too. Thanks to his intervention, B. Lenin agreed to edit the film.
Of course, story, screenplay, dialogue and direction are in the safe hands of Thennarasu," concludes Thangasekar.
