Rajeshwari performs in Melbourne
Hyderabad-based Bharatanatyam dancer Rajeshwari Sainath, who also won the prestigious `Nritya Choodamani' award was invited to perform at the `Mum Moorthigal Jayanthi and Tyagaraja Festival 2006' at the Kel Watson Theatre in Melbourne, Australia recently. The Indian community was in full strength in the hall along with Sri Lankan and Australian art connoisseurs. She presented a special percussion ensemble in dance, with live music. Rajeshwari has also choreographed a congregational tribute of `Pancharatna Krithis' that was incorporated into dance on the occasion. She presented this ensemble with 12 other students from Melbourne.
