A devotional album featuring singers Sikkil Gurucharan, G. V. Viswanathan, B. Balasubramaniam, Gayatri Sivaraman and Anuradha Sriram titled, `Sri Sabareesa' has songs on Ayyappa penned by S. S. VenkatRaman.

The lilting music has been composed by Prapancham Ravindran. The full-bench orchestral backdrop is represented by Y. Bhagavathi (veena), Ramani Thyagarajan (flute), N. Sundar (tabla), P. R.Venkatasubramaniam (keyboard) and Parthasarathi (special effects).

The ragas chosen for the lyrics such as Hamirkalyani, Misra Behag, Subhapantuvarali, Sindhubhairavi and others are just what the doctor ordered for the form of devotional music, evoking a salutary listening atmosphere.
