Bonanza for Amritha

The Film Critics' Awards have come as a bonanza for Amritha TV. With nine awards, the less than one-year-old channel have reasons to cheer. `Swaram' bagged the award for the best serial, best director, best actress and best cameraman. Praveena was selected as the best actress and K.V. Jyothikumar as the best cameraman.

The award for the `second best serial' went to `Mukhamariyathe Kathaariyathe.' Meeta Krishna, who acted in the serial, was adjudged the second best actress while Madhupal, who acted in the serial `MT Kathakal' won the award for the second best actor. The best telecinema award went to `Annu Mazhaayirunnu.'
