This week's Talking Movies (BBC World on March 12, 0900 hours) focuses on Oscar week, with a reaction to this year's winners, a look at what happens to them after the Awards are over and a special report on the success of the movie Brokeback Mountain.

Also shown are results of the Independent Spirit Awards and a profile of Alfonzo Cuaron, director of blockbusters such as Great Expectations, Y Tu Mama Tambien and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
