Play in Hindi

My Mother, The Gharwali, Her Maalak, His Wife,' a play in Hindi, devised by Divya Bhatia, performed by VAMP, and produced by Point of View and Sangram, looks at 24 hours in the life of people who pass through the street on which Leena, a woman indulging in prostitution, lives. The play will be staged at Top Storey, Alliance Francaise of Madras, No.40 (New No.24), College Road, (Ph: 28279803; 28271477) on March 11 and 12, at 5.30 p.m. & 8 p.m. The play will be followed by a discussion.
