Sri Krishna Gana Sabha, Dr. Nalli Gana Vihar, T. Nagar, inaugurated the 14th Chithirai Nataka Vizha on April 17.

Drama artiste, S. Ve. Shekar, was conferred the `Nataka Choodamani,' title on the occasion, by Avvai Natarajan, who inaugurated the drama festival. The award comprises a cash prize of Rs. 25,000, a gold medallion, shawl and a scroll.

The Poornam New Theatre's rolling shield was presented to Gurukulam, the Original Boys Company.
