Weekend bash on Asianet Plus

Asianet Plus has come up with a new package of programmes to attract viewers during the weekends. The new schedule for Saturdays and Sundays came into effect from May 6.

The package will consist of new shows like `Bluff masters,' `Campus days,' `Music club' and `Film quiz' among others and old favourites like `Attahasam,' `Cupid's arrow,' `Full ticket' and `Sharing moments.' Saturday is for the movie buffs.

Golden Oldies will screen classics at 9.30 a.m. It is matinee time on Saturdays afternoon at 2 p.m. A new movie will be telecast in this slot.

`Campus days' at 5 p.m. is for the youth and it zooms into the campuses in Kerala. The show will feature various college-related events like festivals, competitions, fashion shows, opinion polls on youth-related current issues and so on. Each episode will also feature one talented student from a college.

At 6.20 p.m., the `Bluff masters' will hit the screen with a wild and wacky show to amuse viewers. `Bluff masters' is a quiz show with a difference. Nelson and Renjith will weave a quiz based on distorted visuals and popular dialogues and a lot of other wacky stuff. Just one hitch. Callers will have to think twice before asking them for clues, because after all they are the bluff masters. This will be followed by a one-hour live film quiz at 7.30 p.m. The quiz will be on Malayalam movies and music. `Full ticket' will be telecast on Saturdays at 8.30 p.m. It provides updates on the latest Malayalam movies. FTQ dons a new look with celebrities and their families being quizzed on a wide range of topics.

Sundays

`Perfect health' at 8 a.m. is the healthy way to begin your Sunday.

`Fashion street' at 10 a.m. keeps you updated on the latest trends in clothing and accessories. Tune in with `Music carnival' at 10.30 a.m., a live music show with lots of prizes. `Cupid's arrow' at 2 p.m. will let viewers exchange messages through their favourite anchors Karun and Aishwarya. Frames at 5.30 p.m. will update viewers on new movies with on location coverage and bytes from the stars, spiced up with some gossip.

`Music club' at 9.30 p.m. is a new concept of sharing music and melody. A few of the young music sensations in Kerala will get together to share experiences, compose melodies, celebrate each other's birthdays and sing for the viewers.

Sharing moments at 10.30 p.m. is the time for viewers to share their agonies or problems with friends, philosophers and guides Ranjith and Sherin.
