Book release

The National School of Drama, Regional Resource Centre will release a book titled Manmatha Vijaya. This play, written by Prasanna, will be released at Ravindra Kalakshetra on May 28, 6.30 p.m.

The book will be released by Prof. Devendraraj Ankur, Director, National School of Drama, Delhi. Prof. Ki. Ram. Nagaraj, Department of Kannada, Bangalore University, will speak about the book and the programme will be presided by Dr. K. Marulasiddappa.

A new Kannada journal Shabdaguna is being launched on May 28, 11 a.m. at Ravindra Kalakshetra. The journal will be released by Prasanna. The chief guest is S.R. Vijaya Shankara and will be presided by Dr. H. Shantaram.

The editor of this half-yearly journal is Vasanta Bannadi. The annual subscription is Rs. 100 for individuals and Rs. 150 for institutions. Each individual copy will cost Rs. 60.
