GURU DUTT FEST If you want to cry to your heart's content, watch Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam

Bangalore Film Society in association with Deep Focus Quarterly will present the second segment of the Eye For India, a monthly programme. The aim of this programme is to screen cinema that "resonates with the flavour that is India".

This weekend film buffs can catch up with three films of Guru Dutt.

The films will be screened this evening and on June 3 and 4 at 6 p.m.

On June 2 you can watch Kagaz Ke Phool, directed by Guru Dutt, Sahib Biwi Aur Gulam on June 3 directed by Abrar Alvi and Guru Dutt's Pyaasa on June 4.

The venue is Nani Cinematheque, Centre for Film and Drama, No. 71, Miller's Road, 5th Floor, Sona Towers.

Entry is by membership. And the fee from June to December 2006 is priced at Rs. 300 (individual), Rs. 500 (couple) and Rs. 150 (student).
