Dancing for love

Padmaja's recital spreads the message of love.

RIGHT STEP Padmaja and her troupe.

As part of the Secunderabad bi-centennial celebrations, well-known danseuse Padmaja Reddy performed a ballet - `Radhe Sri Krishna Amruth' - at Hari Hara Kala Bhavan on June 6. Radha's love towards Krishna, her ecstasy and joy after listening to her lord's melodious flute were all presented well through the ballet.

Radha's love towards Krishna is so intense that she feels his presence in every breath and every nerve. Even the gopikas who come to fetch water fall into a trance with Krishna's music.

When Radha and Krishna come together in their eternal love, it calls for a celebration that leads to the Rassa Kreeda .

Padmaja Reddy's main aim in choosing this concept of Radha's love is to spread the message of love.

When the world is constantly giving way to selfishness and squabbles, the invaluable feeling of love may find a way out.
