EXQUISITELY CARVED: Idols of Buddha.
An exhibition showcasing the diverse skill of the Indian craftsmen is on at Sri Sankara Hall, TTK Road.
Everything from handloom and handicrafts, jewellery and textile are under one roof. Also available are pieces made of Sheesam wood, carvings, statues of deities dress materials with excellent embellishments and designs.

Also displayed are the brass idols for which Tamil Nadu is famous. Wood panels are one among the main attractions at the fare that includes fabrics, inlaid panels, black metal from Hyderabad, stone painting from Jaipur, radium, statues carved out of stone, whitewood from Rajasthan, choli, saris, 1gm gold jewellery, jarokhas, Hyderabad pearls, churidar from Punjab and Gujarat, rudraksh from Indo-Nepal, palm leaf engraving from Orissa, gold plated puja items and much more to woo an impulsive customer.
A special discount is offered. The exhibition is on from June 15 to 27, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
