NEW ANCHOR: Anu Hasan on Koffee with Anu, Vijay TV, August 18, 21.00.

Koffee with Anu

A chat show with glitz and glamour, sugar and spice, "Koffee with Anu," to be launched on August 19, will be aired every Saturday at 21.00. The show, previously titled, "Koffee with Suchi," will be hosted by Anu Hasan, from the forthcoming week. The niece of actor Kamal Haasan, Anu Hasan meets celebrities from film industry and other fields and asks questions that are fired in quick succession at the guests who also enjoy and win prizes.

Entertainment Quotient

After the great success of `Airtel Super singer,' Vijay TV launches an exciting show, Orbit EQ.

EQ is the first ever inter-collegiate State Level cultural competition to be held on TV. The main objective of this programme is to bring the hidden talents to the fore.

This is a show where colleges in Tamil Nadu compete with each other in a set of entertainment events comprising choreo teams, classical music, classical dance, light music (solo & group), fusion music, dramatics, mono-acting, folk arts and variety entertainment.

The college that emerges victorious will win loads of prizes and the Rolling Trophy. But that's not all, this show provides the platform for young talents to prove their mettle. The programme will be hosted by Shiva of Radio Mirchi and Tejashri. Malgudi Subha and dance master, Sridhar, will be the judges and actor Shobana will also be part of the jury.

Some of the prominent colleges in the city have already exhibited their talents on the Orbit EQ stage. Stay on to see the known faces from your college too.

Change in timings

My Dear Bootham, the Tamil series for kids on Sun TV aired on weekdays at 18.00 will be aired at 17.30 from August 21. This apart, there are minor changes in the serial to make it more interesting for the younger audience.

Mogambo will be the new villain who works against Moosa, the main character of the serial. In the forthcoming episodes, watch how Moosa tries to save the innocent people from Mogambo and his aides.

The special effects is sure to enthuse the kids.
