Drama fest

Nataka Academy, in association with Numap Cultural Academy, is organising a suburban drama festival titled, `Nalli Navarasa Nataka Vizha,' August 18-27, at Sri Ranjani Hall, 15th Street, Nanganallur. Thematic presentations

Bharat Kalachar has organised a thematic Bharatanatyam presentation on "Annaiyay Potri," by Roja Kanna, Priya Murle and Lavanya Ananth, (August 19, 6.30 p.m.) and a thematic vocal concert on "Bhagwat Gita as perceived by Sadguru Saint Thiagaraja," by Jayanthi Sridharan, (August 20, 6.30 p.m.) at YGP Auditorium.

Bhajan

Asthika Samajam, Thiruvanmiyur, has organised Abhang on "Panduranga Leela" by Cuddalore Gopi Bhagavathar on August 24, 6.30 p.m. at Amarabharathi, 12, West Tank Street, Thiruvanmiyur.

Lec-dem

Rukmini Devi College of Fine Arts has organised a lec-dem on `Pallavi' and `Laya' by J. Venkataraman on August 18 and 19, 9 a.m. The venue will be Prayer Hall, Kalakshetra Foundation and Bharata Kalakshetra Auditorium, Thiruvanmiyur.

Correction

The artistes who accompanied Aruna Sairam in her Krishna Gana Sabha concert on August 6 were H.N.Bhaskar (violin), J.Vaidyanathan (mridangam) and S.V.Ramani (ghatam) and not as published in the review, `It was a perfect package,' (August 11, Page 4) by Garimella Subramaniam.
