Showcasing the best

International Entertainers, a light music troupe, has embarked on a mega project. Its head G. V. Prasad, has planned a three-hour programme on 75 years of film music that will highlight the bests of 25 composers and singers, and super hits in Tamil (right from the 1930s). Two such shows have been envisaged — one exclusively for actors, producers and technicians and another for the public, for which yester year artistes with a flair for humour will be roped in. The dates of the two shows are October 2 and November 14. With more interested yester year artistes and sponsors, the show is bound to be a success, feels Prasad. The troupe also plans similar shows based on Hindi and Telugu film music. For further details contact: 040 - 27504570 or email:
