Pavitrotsavam

The Pavitrotsavam of Sri Prasanna Venkatachalapathy Perumal temple, Gunaseelam, Musiri taluk, Tiruchi district, is scheduled to take place from September 3-5. Special pujas will begin at 7 p.m. on the first day.

The next day, homams will be performed after the deity is taken to yagasalai. On September 5, Tirumanjanam will be performed to Sri Vikanasa Acharya at 10.30 a.m. followed by a procession of the deity in the evening.
