Celebrating the abstract

Ati Art Gallery presents a celebration of Abstract Art, an exhibition of works by India's greatest abstract artists. Abstract Art is an art that positions abstraction in its various moods and its flavours. Presented by HSBC and conceived and curated by Ati Art Gallery - The Absolute Abstract art show is scheduled to start in Bangalore today and will go on till September 10. The venue is Istana, Ista hotel located at Swami Vivekananda Road, Ulsoor.

The participating artists are Akhilesh, Amitava, Anwar, Asit Kumar Patnaik, Geroge Martin, Gopi Gajwani, Gurdeep, Harsh Wardhan, Manish Pushkale, Mona Rai, Nupur Kundu, Prabhakar M. Khote, Pulak Biswas, Ravi Mandlik, Sangeeta Gupta, Siraj Saxena, Smriti Dixit, Subroto Kundu, Usha Biswas and Yogendra Tripati.

The event is being organised in association with Ista and Chivas Art Experience.

Ati Art Gallery is the fruition of a ten-year endeavour of art advisor and curator Poonam Sarin, to make Indian Art accessible to the discerning.
