Bring out the glasses

Madhavan has his hands full with mentor Mani Ratnam's Guru. Yet, he couldn't refuse when Rituparno Ghosh approached him for his new film, Sunglasses.

The role was previously offered to actor Sanjay Suri. Maddy, not wanting to ruf.e feathers with Suri, called him up to clear the air. Convinced that Suri turned down the film on personal grounds, Maddy agreed to be part of the Sunglasses team.
