Musical evening



SOUND OF MUSIC N. S. Prasad performs today

Bhaagavataru, a cultural organisation is hosting an evening of music at the Ravindra Kalakshetra on October 6.Bhava Sandhya is also an occasion when the Ragashree Sangeeta Vidyalaya will be inaugurated. There will also be a Guruvandana programme in honour of noted instrumentalist and music composer Ratan Kumar (M.S. Satyanarayana). The programme begins at 6 p.m. A souvenir will be released. The programme will be followed at 7.15 p.m. with a concert by N.S. Prasad followed by a musical programme of Prasad's compositions by noted singers.

Bhaagavataru stepped into the cultural scene of the state in 2001, when Kannada theatre celebrated its 125th year. Since then the organisation has been anchoring theatre festivals, seminars, brought out books, and organised music programmes regularly.
