Throwing light on Kathakali

`Kathakali Vettom' on Amrita completes 100 episodes. Not only does it feature famous plays, but it also explains the scenes and the characters involved in the plays.

Anchored by Kathakali artiste Haripriya and critic Rajanand, each episode introduces viewers to maestros whose dedication and skill have enriched the art form. Up-and-coming artistes have also been included in the programme.

It is telecast at 6.00 on Mondays and Fridays.
