Salute to the state

Ramya Cultural Academy, a charitable trust, is bringing out a CD "Suvarna" comprising two songs on Kannada and Karnataka (Nudi namana and Aashaya) as a salute to the state on the occasion of the Suvarna Mahotsava celebrations.

Written and composed by Karnataka Kalashree S. Bali (well known in the field of music), the songs have been sung by popular playback singer Rajesh Krishnan with state and national awardee Ritisha Padmanabh.

The first 1,000 copies will be distributed free of cost on request to educational institutions and associations working for the cause and promotion of Kannada.

For details on the CD contact S. Bali, president of the Academy on 98457-48240.
