Platinum jubilee celebration at Music Academy
The Music Academy, Madras, is celebrating the Platinum Jubilee of the Teachers' College of Music on November 24 and 25.
Old students and teachers who have been on its faculty are requested to contact the Academy and furnish their current address and other information about their career.

Winners
The following have been declared the winners in the annual Spirit of Youth festival of Music and Dance held at Kasturi Srinivasan Hall, Music Academy, from Sept. 29-Oct. 6 and Oct. 8 and 9. Jyotsna Jagannathan (Bharatanatyam); Amrutha Venkatesh (vocal); R. Rahul (violin); Arjun Ganesh (mridangam) and K. L. Kaushik (flute). The festival was dedicated to the memory of Ambujam Krishna and sponsored by M/s Sundaram Fasteners.
