Think again
A vision of the world can now bring you a fully paid summer programme at the Cambridge University. India Habitat Society in association with National Geographic Channel invites undergraduate students to participate in the fourth annual `Award for Habitat Young Visionary 2007'. This award encourages the youth to re-think their world.
The idea of the award is to identify a visionary outlook regarding the issues of the country.
The selection process is in three stages. The first stage requires the submission of a 1500 word essay in English or Hindi on specified topics. Fifteen semi finalists will then have to defend their argument before judges.
The finals
Five participants will then be short listed for the finals to be held on January 30 at IHC.
The winner will get an opportunity to go to attend a summer programme at the Cambridge University. The first runner-up will get to intern with the National Geographic Channel and the other three finalists will get to intern with an established NGO. For more details on the contest log into: www.
