Gangster roles

DON AND AFTER After playing the Don's moll, Isha next plays a gangster

These days, actress Isha Koppikar is smiling a lot. Being the Don's girl comes with a lot of media attention.

But perhaps her role in Shabri, directed by Lalit Marathe, will create bigger ripples. "Shabri is again in the crime genre, produced by Ram Gopal Varma, and for the first time a woman is playing the role of a gangster."

Isha, who gained popularity after the Khallas item number in Company, says she's not tired of the Khallas girl image. Actresses like Madhuri Dixit got the tag of dhak-dhak girl and Hema Malini that of dream girl."
