Film launch at Raj Bhavan

RARE VENUE: At the muhurat of Veda...

Probably for the first time, Raj Bhavan, Chennai, was the venue for the launch of a film. The puja for Niran Creations International's `Veda ... ' that took place at the Governor's residence on November 1, at 11.30 a.m., was a short, formal event. Jerovadhan, the son of Sarabjit Singh IPS, Additional Director General of Police, Welfare, debuts as one of the heroes of `Veda.' Arun (now Arun Vijay) is the lead player, with Sheela of `Ilavattam,' as the heroine. The Governor, who spoke on the occasion, wished the unit well. `Veda ... ' will be directed by R. Nithyakumar.
