Vidya Balan as Chandramukhi


Vidya Balan prides in calling herself a true blue South Indian. Thanks to her roots in Palakkad, she says she trained in classical dance and music like most South Indian young women. Now she's got an opportunity to put her skills to best use. Vidya has been signed to play the role of Chandramukhi in the Hindi remake of the Tamil-Telugu hit. After Mani Ratnam's Guru, this will be a film she would wait for.
