Kuchipudi dancers had the audience asking for more.

Ramayanam was performed as a dance drama by Kuchipudi dancers who are students of Bhagavathula Venkatarama Sarma . The dance drama was staged at Kshetrayya Kala Kshetram to a packed audience that enjoyed the show and responded with repeated applause.
It was a fast paced two and half hour show with a cast of nearly thirty.
Following this, a few episodes like Ahalya Sapa Vimochanam, Seeta swayamvaram, Siva Dhanurbhangam, Parasurama Garvabhangam, Soorpanakha Parabhavam, Seetapaharanam, the Battle of Vali and Sugreeva and Vibhishana Pattabhishekam were performed at break-neck speed.
The well-choreographed dance drama came to a close with Rama killing Ravana and becoming the King of Ayodhya (Sri Rama Pattabhishekam). Sanjatha, a seasoned dancer with expressive features, fine footwork, played the role of Seeta sensitively.
Suhasini played the character of Lakshmana.
Others who fared well were, B. Srinivasa Sarma (Dasaradha, Janaka, Indrajit), Hanumanta Rao (Ravana), Vithal (Viswamitra, Anjaneya, Guha), Tajuddin (Sugreeva, Tataki, Mantri), Mani (Kumbhakarna), Deepti (Kaika, Court Dancer) and Dharmateja (Jatayu and Jambavanta).
The dance drama can go places with a few more rehearsals and shows. Guru Sarma's choreography and nattuvangam were of high standard.
Good vocal support came from K. Suryanarayana and D. V. Kanakadurga. Instrumental support was provided by M. Vijayakumar (mridangam), P. Nageswara Rao (violin), and K. Sasidhar (veena).
