POGO kids awards
Watch out for the recap of the POGO Amazing Kids Awards 2006, that honours India's 24 best young talents, which was held on December 10 at the Film City, Gurgaon. Winners of POGO Amazing Kids Awards 2006 received a citation, trophy and a child benefit policy worth Rs. 5 lakhs.
The gala affair included dazzling performances by actor Preity Zinta and Shaimak Davar's Junior Dance Company, as well as the extremely talented finalists from this year's Awards.
The POGO Kids Awards will be simulcast on POGO and Cartoon Network on December 17, 2006 at 19.30.
The winners
The final eight winners, were decided upon based on votes received from kids across India.
The winners are 13-year-old Pallavi Mazumdar from Kolkata — POGO Amazing Kid - Artist; 14-year-old Rajkumari Sanathoi from Imphal, Manipur — POGO Amazing Kid - Dancer; 5-year-old Muskan Vijay from Gwalior — POGO Amazing Kid - Entertainer; 13-year-old Akrit Jaswal from Chandigarh — POGO Amazing Kid - Genius; 14-year-old Shravya .M from Hyderabad — POGO Amazing Kid - Leader; 11-year-old K. Sathyanarayanan from Chennai — POGO Amazing Kid - Musician; 14-year-old Aaron D'souza from Bangalore — POGO Amazing Kid - Sports; 11-year-old Vignesh Chandrashakhar from Chennai — POGO Amazing Kid - Singer.
Sudev N. M. from Chennai was chosen as the lucky winner of the `POGO Amazing Kids Awards 2006 Vote and Win contest' and was the winner of an exclusive, Dilip Chhabria custom designed car.
