Hanumath Jayanthi
Sri Ramanjaneya Trust, Tambaram Sanatorium (Ph: 2241 5380) is celebrating hanumath jayanthi at Sri Ramanjaneyar temple, on December 20 and 21, with the singing of akhanda ganam.
Pancharatna kritis will be rendered on Thursday at 7 a.m. and Tirumanjanam will take place in the evening.
Sri Bhakta Anjaneyar Temple, A.G.S. Colony, Thottivakkam is celebrating the festival from December 17 to December 23.
The temple is about one kilometre from Tiruvanmiyur bus stand on ECR, near Srinivasapuram bus stand.
The Lord will be adorned with different alankarams and special pujas and abishekams will also take place.
Cultural programmes have been organised for the evenings.
Annadanam will take place on December 20 at 12 noon.
At Chennai Om Sri Skandasramam Hanumath Jayanti will be celebrated for the second year on Decembe9.,
There will be special abhishekam for Pancha Mukha Anjaneyar at 10.30 a.m. and alankaram with 1008 Vadamalai.
A grand Sandana Kappu alankaram for the deity will be at 6 p.m.
