Smruti's all-night music concert is tomorrow

ENRICHING RENDITIONS Pandit Ajay Pohankar will perform

Renuka Sangeeth Sabha will be organising its all-night sangeeth samaroh "Smruthi" this Saturday, February 10. The Sabha has been organising the concerts for the last four years as a musical tribute to the well-known vocalist, late Pandit Arjunsa Nakod. This year's concert will be held at Ravindra Kalakshetra, J.C.Road from 9 p.m. onwards.

The programme will feature Pandit Ajay Pohankar (vocal), Pandit Ronu Mazumdar (flute), Pandit Shubhendra Rao and Saskiya Rao in a jugalbandi of sitar and cello, Pandit Ravindra Yavagal (tabla solo), Vidwan Sriram Prashuram and Anuradha Sriram in a vocal jugalbandi of Hindustani and Carnatic styles, and Poornima Bhat Kulkarni in a vocal concert.
