Rudraksha fair

Coinciding with Maha Sivaratri, a rudraksha exhibition, a joint venture of Indo-Nepal Rudraksha Organisation, is being held in the city till February 18, 10 a.m. - 8 p.m., at C.P. Art Centre, Eldams Road, Alwarpet.

G. Panduranga Rao, director of the organisation, assures that the rudrakshas are genuine.

The beads are being sold with a certificate and a lifetime guarantee card.

The price ranges from Rs.50 to Rs.16 lakh. Also on sale at the exhibition are spatikalingams, spatikamalas, navaratna malas and rudraksha jewellery.

Special puja

The exhibition has a rare spatikalingam brought from Rameswaram. To mark Mahasivaratri, a special puja and abhishekam will be performed on February 16 (today).
