CD release

AIR proposes to release CDs containing the prestigious collection of the recordings of flute maestro T.R.Mahalingam and vocalist Maharajapuram V. Santhanam in the Akashvani Sangeet album series, at a function at Narada Gana Sabha auditorium, on March 9, 6 p.m.

N. Murali, president, Madras Music Academy, will be the chief guest and N. Ramani will offer felicitations. The function will be followed by a vocal concert by P.Unnikrishnan.

Akashvani Sangeet CDs and cassettes including the newly released CDs will be available for sale at a concession, at the function venue.
