Best short films on culture
AWARDS Khushboo was the chief guest for IFFC
The International Festival of Short Films on Culture (IFFC) is, perhaps, the only one of its kind in the world. This three-day event, which ended recently, had films from 33 countries vying for the golden statuettes.
It was held in Jaipur, where Khusboo was the chief guest and distributed the awards. Noted filmmaker Basu Chatterjee headed the jury.
The winners are: Best International Film: Malankaya Katerina (Russia), Best National Film: U Turn at Pushkar (India),
Best Documentary Film: Three Lives Hanoi (Germany), Best Narrative Film: The Bride of Sky (Iran), Best Film on Religion:
The Holy dues of Hola Mohalla (India), Best Animation Film: Only Love can break your Heart (Germany), Best Experimental Film: White Swan (Sweden), Best Student Film: Balykist A Fisherman (Russia) and Best Film On Rajasthan: Eco Dharma (India).
A certificate of merit was warded to Gayatri Mantra (India) in the category of Films on Religion.
