French film festival

Nani Cinematheque will host a weeklong festival of New French Cinema between March 24 and April 1 at the Centre for Film and Drama, Miller's Road, Bangalore.

On March 24, the inaugural film Ridicule (1996), a costume comedy, will be screened at 6.30 p.m. On all other days, there will be two shows; at 4 p.m. and 6.30 p.m. On Saturday, March 31, and Sunday, April 1, there will be three shows at 1 p.m., 4 p.m. and 6.30 p.m. respectively.

Among the films that will be screened are L'Esquive (Games of love and chance), Sur mes lèvres (Read My Lips), Les égarés (Strayed), Beau Travail (Good Work), and Jeanne Labrunne.
