Feature to showcase ragas

Classical musician Charulatha Mani will present a series of concerts — `Isai Payanam' - A concert with a difference.

Drawing encouragement from the popular programme she hosts on Jaya TV, Charulatha plans to make each session an educative, interactive experience for the audience.

`Isai Payanam' will be a monthly feature, where a selection of ragas will be showcased. Quizzes and prizes are part of the agenda.

The first of the Payanam series will be held on March 17, 6 p.m., at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan (mini hall).
