Honour well deserved

Kamal Haasan

Kamal Haasan, actor, writer, director and producer will be honoured with the Living Legend Award this year, at the FICCI Annual Global Convention, FRAMES, on March 28, in Mumbai, for his remarkable contribution to cinema and dedication to the medium. Priyaranjan Dasmunsi, Minister, Information and Broadcasting, will do the honours. The earlier recipients of the award include Dilip Kumar, Dev Anand, Dharmendra, Amitabh Bachchan, Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhonsle, Waheeda Rehman, Vyjayanthimala Bali and Hemamalini.
