This week, Star Plus has achieved the dubious feat of clubbing three `K' serials into one. "Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki", "Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi" and "Kayamath" were woven into a single yarn to role out two one-and-a-half-hour episodes this past Monday and Tuesday under the grand name of "Teen Kahaaniya, Teen Raz, Do Anokhe Episodes". Well, with the cricket World Cup happening, this can be a good example of what channels do to bring back viewers.

Technical Awards


As part of the "10th Zee Cine Awards 2007" to be held in Malaysia on April 1, the organisers have just announced the Technical Excellence Awards for the years many as 15 awards have been declared by the jury in Mumbai this week. And the award winning films are the usual suspects - "Lage Raho Munnabhai", "Rang De Basanti", "Krrish", "Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna", "Omkara" and "Umrao Jaan".

M.A.D. merchandise


New for M.A.D. lovers! The popular show on POGO and Cartoon Network can now be on your bookshelf. A series of six books has been published featuring fun activities with easy-to-follow steps and full colour illustrations by the popular show host Rob. Also, there will be M.A.D. home entertainment DVDs, M.A.D. stationery and an exciting do-it-yourself activity kit. The range of products will be priced between Rs.25 and Rs.525 and will soon be made available at select stores.

Film show


This Friday at 11p.m., CNN International is launching its first dedicated film show, "The Screening Room". A halfhour monthly movie show, "The Screening Room" will feature interviews, film festivals, red-carpet events, on-location reporting, etc. from Hollywood to Bollywood, Cannes to Iran, Africa to Australia. The show, to be repeated on Saturdays and Sundays, will be hosted by British TV presenter Myleene Klass.
