SUMPTUOUS FARE: Interviews with film stars, directors and singers, talent hunts and films promise to keep viewers glued to the television.
Asianet has a sumptuous programme menu for viewers. It includes films, interviews, music shows and game shows. The celebrations begin on April 14.

Singer Mahati presents `Vishu Smriti,' a medley of songs at 9.00. Celebrate the festival with the stars at 14.30. Then it is again time for a musical break with `Alapanam' at 15.30. An interview with Padmapriya at 17.30 will be preceded by a sitcom `Ladies Only' at 17.00. The movie `Adbhuthadeep' will be telecast at 18.00
On April 15, catch the latest news about the Vishu releases on `Vishu Chitrangal' at 7.35. Asianet's close encounter with Vidya Balan will be telecast at 8.00 on April 15. The Bollywood beauty, whose roots are in Kerala, talks about her films, family and friends. Two movies - `Kochi Rajavu' at 13.15 and `Mambhazhakalam' at 18.00 - will premier on the small screen. An interview with Mammootty will be telecast at 17.00.
The award function and programmes that were held in connection with the presentation of the Asianet Film Awards will be aired at 10.00 on both April 14 and 15.
Asianet Plus
The festivities will begin on Asianet Plus with the telecast of the UGMA awards on April 14 (9.00). Shankar Mahadevan's interview will follow at 11.30. In the afternoon, get acquainted with rapper Blazee. Watch actor Dilip talk about his life and career at 20.00.
Asianet Plus will telecast the final rounds of `Little Masters.' The finals of the music talent hunt will be held at Asianet Studio Complex. The live telecast of the show will begin at 19.00. on April 15. It will also be an occasion for music and cine fans to learn more about Raghav Sachar (17.30), Pop Shalini, Lakshmi Sharma (8.00) and Satyan Anthikad.

Vishu begins on a devout note on Surya TV. At 6.00 on April 15, `Devalaya Darshanam' takes viewers on a pilgrimage to some of the most picturesque temples in Kerala. A special `Ponpulari' will greet viewers at 7.00. `Vishu Puthiya Pattukal,' which will be aired at 8.30, will include songs from the latest Vishu releases. The Jayaram starrer `Pauran' will be telecast at 9.00. At 12 noon, KPAC Lalitha will appear as the guest of `Melody.'
Join the cast and crew of `Big B' in `Bilalinte Thanal,' a special feature on Mammootty's film `Big B.' Mammootty, Manoj K. Jayan, Nafisa Ali, Manasa, Mamata and Amal Neerad will participate in the programme to talk about the making of the film. Viji Thampy's `Kritya' will be telecast at 13.45. Prithivraj acts in a double role in the film.
`Njanelathe Enthu Aghosham' at 16.00 has Kalabhavan Mani spending a day with the Surya team. Get an idea of the storyline, cast and crew of the latest Vishu releases at 16.30. At 17.00 viewers can watch V.M. Vinu's `Vesham,' starring Mammootty, Mohini, Indrajith, Gopika and Sindhu Menon. Get set for a trip with `Vinodyatra,' an interview with Satyan Anthikad and Dileep, at 21.00. A special programme show on `Chotta Mumbai' at 22.00. will see Mohanalal, Bhavana, Siddique, Jagaty Srikumar, Manukuttan and others participating in a talk show.
