Salman-Katrina in Ghai's film

The trio of Anil Kapoor, Subhash Ghai and A.R. Rahman is back together after Taal. Ghai's next directorial has his favourites along with Salman Khan, Zayed Khan and Katrina Kaif. Ghai's calling his movie Main Yuvraj, and has co-written the story with Sachin Bhowmick (Krrish) and Kamlesh Pandey (Rang De Basanti).

A musical, Main Yuvraj is likely to be released by the end of 2007 or early 2008 and brings together Salman and Katrina for the second time after Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya. The hunky Khan, reportedly, has denied that he was instrumental in his girlfriend bagging the role!

No thanks, says Vivek

Vivek Oberoi is perfecting the art of saying no, if we were to go by recent reports. The actor apparently rejected 20 films within a month. The last few debacles have made him more selective and he prefers to keep a low profile. The one film he will talk about, meanwhile, is Shootout at Lokhandwalawhere he essays the part of don Maya Dolas.

Bobby shifts gears

After being saddled with the action hero image, Bobby Deol gets to venture into offbeat territories. Watch him play himself in a delightful small-budget film called Nanhe Jaisalmer made by Samir Karnik (of the forgettable Kyun Ho Gaya Na). Nanhe Jaisalmer is a story of two friends _ Bobby Deol and a child from Jaisalmer. Eros International is planning a May release for this emotional story that talks about the child's dreams.

For man's best friends...

Penguins - A Love Story had Amitabh Bachchan giving his baritone and Shah Rukh Khan and television actress Rakshanda Khan earlier did it The Incredibles. Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor are the latest to try their luck, lending their voices to an animation film produced by Yash Raj Films. A dog is the central character of the first film directed by actor Jugal Hansraj.
