The film releases on April 20 in Mumbai, Pune, New Delhi, Bangalore and Chennai and on April 27 in Chandigarh, Kolkata and Hyderabad.

Based on the book "A Day with Wilbur Robinson" by William Joyce, the film follows the adventures of young Lewis (voiced by Daniel Hansen and Jordan Fry), a bespectacled boy whose mother left him at an orphanage when he was an infant. Being the science geek and aspiring inventor that he is, he creates a memory scanner with the hope of going back and finding his mother.
Instead, Lewis winds up in the future, having been whisked away by his new friend, Wilbur Robinson (Wesley Singerman). There, Wilbur's family of misfits and weirdoes offers to take him in. (Adam West and Tom Selleck are among the actors lending their voices, with Angela Bassett as the head of the orphanage.) It will also be released in the revolutionary new Disney Digital 3DT. This exciting new format brings to life the already beautifully rendered world of state-of-the-art CG animation and presents not only an unparalleled movie-going experience but a glimpse into the future of digital entertainment.
According to the Director Stephen Anderson, "Audiences fall in love with the good guys and the bad guys because they all connect. `Meet The Robinsons' has these same kinds of characters. They're fun, they're unpredictable, but they also have an aspect that is very emotional and human... " Steve Anderson is also the voice behind the villainous Bowler Hat Guy and several other characters.
