TTD's new initiative

TTD Information Centre, Chennai's Local Advisory Committee, has announced the launch of a new initiative to help Divya Desams (108 Vaishnavite temples) that are facing difficulties in their day-to-day functioning. Specific non-cash contributions from devotees towards helping these temples will be directed to the needy temples. TTD will work with SMILE (Selfless Movement Improving Life Everywhere), a voluntary service organisation which does not collect, accept or donate money.

SMILE, which is involved in temple service, has been associated with TTD for over six years. It has been sending volunteers for Sri Vari Seva in Tirumala and its volunteers have cleaned up over 350 places of worship.

Devotees can make monthly or annual contributions. Contact: TTDIC, Chennai @ 98841 99284/98407 99989/2433 4895 or e-mail: thesmileworld@gmail.com.
