Workshop

There will be a 10-day intensive course on `Understanding Carnatic Music' and `Understanding Western Music'. Each interactive session is of 60 minutes' duration and classes will be held five days a week at the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Mylapore.

Basic aspects of Carnatic and Western music will be covered. Violinist M. Lalitha, Fulbright Fellow, U.S., and M. Subhalakshmi of Lakshminarayana School of Music are the course directors.
