Display of histrionic talent
As per the monthly schedule of Visakha Music and Dance Academy organised the staging of two short plays Panchabhartruka and Mrugam in Kalabharati last week. Both, scripted by Uma, were directed by late Pantham Satyanadhan and Karri Ranga Raoand won many awards earlier. The plays dealt with the symbolic and graphic depictions of the horrid patterns of life of the fair sex and the families of traditional folk artistes respectively and
left an impression of being misnomers.
Nevertheless, both the plays showcased histrionic talent both individually and as a team with understanding by all actors.
