Summer showdown

CNN-IBN is taking its citizen journalism initiative a step further this May. The channel’s camera will follow one family each from Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai and Kolkata for five weeks wherein they will report on civic problems threatening to become a crisis this summer. While 2-3 minute stories of power cuts, water shortage, spilling drains, etc. will be a part of daily news reports, a compiled version will be aired on May 26 for an hour. Check it out to know whether your inconveniences feature there.

New Series

Star World has just started a new American comedy-drama, “Psych”. Aired on Monday and Saturday nights, the series looks interesting with its protagonist Shawn Spencer with extra-super observational skills. He calls the cops to give clues about cases that he reads in the newspapers and thus becomes a police consultant. The rest is for you to find out.
