Handicrafts Mela

A special handicrafts mela, organised by All India Crafts Bazar, is on at Community Hall, N0. 30, C. P. Ramaswamy Road, Abhiramapuram.

From heritage collection to contemporary, handicrafts are on display under one roof in 75 stalls. Artisans from different States are showcasing their products.

The items range from Orissa saris, jewellery in white and black metal, crockery to brassware, Kashmir’s wood furniture and Bengal’s terracotta creations.

Apart from clothes, home accessories such as bed sheets, bed covers, cushion and pillow covers and curtains are also available. There are special discounts on handicrafts and handloom too.

The exhibition is open between 10 a.m. and 9 p.m. on all days including public holidays. It will end on May 22.
