The best programmes being aired on AIR & DD are given the RAPA award every year. This time round, the award function was organised on May 11 at Mumbai, to crown the best shows for the year 2006.
The RAPA award for the Best Talk Show was bagged by ‘Arattai Arangam’ moderated by actor, director Visu, aired on Jaya TV, Sundays, 11 a.m. The RAPA award for the Best Game Show go
es to ‘Mom & Me,’ aired on Jaya TV, Saturday, 21.30.
Prove your talent
The preliminary round of ‘Sunfeast little master,’ the music and dance talent shows for those between the age group eight and 13, will be held at Tamizh Music Association, Raja Muthaiah Hall, Melur Road, Ma
durai, on May 18 & 19. The jury will comprise four musicians and four choreographers.
The music competition, to be held on May 18, requires the contestants to come prepared with three songs well rehearsed.
And for the dance competition, which is to be held on May 19, the participants are required to record the chosen songs only in a CD to which they will dance.
